Google has made its streaming music service Google Play Music free to use, without a subscription.
The catch is that you'll have to listen to ads, similar to the way free versions of Spotify and Pandora(P) work.

Why Is Spotify Not Working
Launching a free version of Google Play Music comes as no surprise. Streaming media companies have struggled to find enough people willing to pay monthly subscriptions, and have increasingly turned back to selling ads to buoy their businesses.
I've paid for a spotify subscription before but I just don't have the money to spare right now so I have to use the free version for now. However a couple of days ago I could no longer use my spotify account since it tells me I've used up my 10 free hours.
